Beach Trip

We went to the beach last weekend. A big thanks to John and Kelly Childress for letting us stay at their condo!

It was so much fun! Our girls loved it! They are at such a fun age for enjoying the beach. It was nice to be there and have no one need a morning nap! Both girls spent a lot of time digging in the sand and Belle loved going to fill her bucket in the ocean. We also had some fun with a kite. The weather was amazing and we had such a great family time!

IT"S A BOY!!

I really can't believe it, but we found out today that we are having a boy! He is due October 6th. I'm half way there which is also hard to believe! Now we have to figure out a name!

Belle's 3rd Birthday

Belle turned 3 today. I really can't believe its been 3 years since she was born! It has gone so quickly! At the same time, I can't imagine her not being a part of our lives!

Today we let Belle decide what to do for her bday. She woke up to presents first thing, and then she picked pancakes for breakfast (actually she picked Chick Fil A first, but she had already picked that for lunch and we told her she couldn't go there twice in one day! So then she settled for pancakes.) Then she decided she wanted to get in Mommy and Daddy's bed to watch the Curious George movie. So we all piled in the bed and watched it! Then we went to CFA for lunch, as requested. We came home for cake and then the birthday girl slept all afternoon and finally woke up at 4:45 in time to decide that she wanted to eat pizza and watch another movie for supper! So we ate pizza while we watched Wall E tonight. It was a pretty low key day, but I think Belle loved it! I thought she might choose to go to the zoo or the park or something, but I guess she was in a movie mood today! Maybe her party wore her out yesterday!

This year it was so fun since Belle knew her bday was coming and knew what to expect. I loved seeing her be so excited! She asked us to sing happy birthday to her so many times today! She just ate up being the birthday girl! Fun, fun!

Oh, we did take pictures, but I haven't taken them off my camera yet. And we leave for the beach tomorrow, so I don't know when I'll get them up...Sorry!

Small Group Brunch

From 2004-2006 I had the privilege of leading a small group of high school girls at our church along with my friend Taryn. We love these girls and have enjoyed watching them grow over the years. They just graduated from college and we had a brunch to celebrate! I can't believe they are already finished with college...and one of them is about to get married! We are so proud of the ladies they are and are blessed to know them! We love you girls!

Belle's Party

Belle's 3rd birthday party was this morning. I was pretty afraid it was going to rain, but it didn't, and it was a fun party! Belle was a beautiful purple princess for her "Purple Princess Party". We took lots of pics that I haven't gone through yet, but here is a sneak peak at our purple princess and her purple princess sister. Hopefully I'll get more up soon!

Riding the Train

Our friend Charley turned 2 and had her birthday party at the train! We were all excited to get to ride "George the train" for the first time! Isn't it so cute that there is a little train for kids to ride here in Greenville? What a fun idea! The girls loved the train ride!

Monkey Joe's

We went to a birthday party at Monkey Joe's tonight. Belle has been a couple times before and doesn't really get into the whole jumping thing. This is what she did for most of the night. At least she was having fun!
