Lucy's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe it, but Lucy turned 2 on Saturday! (Sept 25) We celebrated with some friends and cake. She was SO excited about it being her birthday! When we went in to get her in the morning and said "happy birthday lucy!" She jumped up and ran out to the den saying "Where's my cake?" Hilarious! She is so funny! She makes us laugh all the time!
Happy Birthday Sweet Lucy!
These girls were so excited to get at that cake! I had to watch Lucy closely to make sure she didn't dig into it before time!

My belly!

We are expecting our baby boy any day now (I'm due next Wed, Oct 6). Here's my huge belly, in case you were wondering what it looks like these days!

Daddy turns 30!

Its a big birthday year at the Osborn house! I celebrated my 30th bday in May and Joseph had his September 22! I guess we are both officially old now! We had a fun date night to celebrate his big bday and the girls helped me make a chocolate cake and helped me wrap his fire pit for the yard. Here they are waiting for him to open it and helping him read the "30 things I Love to do with Daddy" that we put on the paper.
Our cake didn't turn out perfectly, but it tasted good! The icing just ran off the cake!
We love you! Happy Birthday!!

Apple Picking

We went apple picking last week. It was hotter than ideal for picking apples, but we had a fun time with our friends, the McKees, enjoyed some yummy cider donuts, and came home with LOTS of apples! I'm excited about all the things we can make! So far we've made apple sauce and an apple french toast casserole, but we've got plenty more apples to make things with! I accidentally put these pictures on in backwards order, so you will see our adventure in reverse, but I'm too lazy to fix it. And I don't know why this is underlined. Sorry about that!

I don't know if you can tell in this picture, but look closely at how Joseph is hauling our apples out of the orchard. He is pushing our girls in the double stroller and has the wagon of apples tied to the stroller to pull it. He really didn't want me overexerting myself going up that hill!

The girls were able to pick some apples, but they liked eating them much more!

What a difference a Year makes

The Worst Baby Shower Ever

Wow. Sorry it has been over a month since I last posted on here! I have several posts to do, so you might get overwhelmed!

I have lots of sweet friends. A few of those sweet friends offered to throw me a baby shower so we could get some baby boy things, since almost all of our baby stuff is pink! So sweet of them. And so sweet of so many other friends to come bring us great gifts! But it was the worst baby shower ever because I was the worst guest of honor ever!

Saturday before the shower on Sunday I was going to the bathroom way more than normal (even at this stage of pregnancy) and I had a terrible pain in my back. It wouldn't go away and I couldn't sleep, so around midnight we called the doctor and they told me to go to the hospital. So we spent most of Saturday night at the hospital. They think I had a kidney infection. (Thanks to Des for coming to sleep on our couch while we were at the hospital!) Then on Sunday I was drugged up and throwing up from the pain meds I was on. So I probably should have cancelled the shower, but I wanted to badly to go that I didn't. I was totally in a fog and threw up while I was at the shower and ended up leaving early after my sweet friends convinced me to go! No one even ate while I was there! Thankfully Lindsey took some pics with my camera for me so I could see what the food looked like! :) It was beautiful! Great job Ashley! Wish I could have enjoyed it more!!

I actually opened my gifts at the shower, but the next day when I went back through them it was like I was opening them all again! :)
