Goodwill

I love shopping at Goodwill. I would definitely do it more if I didn't have kids, but I love to go look when i get a chance. The girls and I went the other day and found all sorts of goodies for our baby boy! I was so excited to get him some cute things at good prices! We found 9 things and spent $17! Look how cute these baby boy outfits are!
After finding such great things at one store I decided to go to a couple of other stores the next day and see what else we could find. But at 2 stores I only found 2 things worth buying...not as good of a shopping day, that's for sure! We spent $3, bringing our total up to $20 for 11 items.
I got the girls a couple of fun things too, including a princess dress that Belle was super excited to take home. I think Belle has a future in thrift store shopping. She was having so much fun looking through the racks of kids clothes and pulling things out and asking me if it was for a boy or a girl, if it was for a big girl or a little girl, or if it would fit Lucy. And the way she wanted to carry her dress to the checkout and then to the car was precious. I'm glad she thinks its fun!

Pop Ice Fun

This was Lucy's first or second time to eat a Pop Ice and it was so funny to watch her try to do it all by herself!

Messy Mess

This happened before we moved, but I just now getting the pics off of my camera. I can't even remember what we were making, but I know it involved flour. The girls and I were making something in the kitchen and I turned around to check the recipe for a few seconds. When I turned back around Lucy had gotten into the flour and gotten it EVERYWHERE! The counter, the floor, and LUCY were covered in flour! I didn't get a pic of the room, but i did get a couple of Lucy before I cleaned her up. She was shoveling it into her mouth by the fistful! Gross! Look at her flour caked teeth!

Garage Saling

We went garage saling Saturday morning hoping to find some goodies for the house. We only found one thing we needed for the house, but we scored a couple of good finds for the girls.
This kitchen was only $4! And the girls LOVE it.
And we got this cute little grocery buggy for $2, which Belle likes to push around and say "Thank you for shopping at BILO!"

We moved!

Into a house! We have actually been in our new house for a little over a week, but I am just now getting around to blogging about it! I guess that's what happens with a move. Oh, and I meant to get pictures of the actual moving process, but that didn't happen. Oh well. Here'e the new house:
We have been in an apartment for quite some time* now, so it is VERY exciting to be in a house! It has really made me appreciate the little things...like a YARD! This is one of my favorite things about the house! We have a back yard! No more walking down a flight of stairs and down a hill to get to the playground, we can just walk out our door! What a treat! We have put a little pool out there and have really been enjoying it!

A few of my other favorite things about the house are:
-We made the dining room into a play room
-Hazelnut (that's the baby boy) has a room
-Joseph has an office upstairs...but all of the other rooms are downstairs.
-It has a garage
-It's right next door to some of our really good friends!

The girls did great with the move and have loved the new house. They were so excited to help pack their stuff up as we were packing the apartment. It was pretty funny how they would ask if certain toys or books could come with us to the new house. Its also kind of funny to me how they always have an "old house" and a "new house" to talk about since neither Joseph nor I ever moved growing up. I'm glad they are adaptable!

We are all moved in and ready for visitors if you want to come check out the house!

*We lived in a house before moving to Missouri, back in 2006, but our girls have only lived in apartments. And we have lived in 3 different apartments over the last 1 1/2 years since coming back to Greenville, so this is a really exciting move!

It was a big day in our house...the girls did 5 poops (that's way more than normal, if you are wondering) and they all made it into the potty! 5 for 5!

Cow Girls

Last night we dressed up as cows and headed to Chick-Fil-A for free supper! (If you don't know about this, CFA has "Cow Appreciation Day" where you can get a free combo if you dress up like a cow. I think its an annual thing, so if you missed it this year, look out for it next year!) The girls were super excited to dress like cows and they love CFA, so they were pretty excited about the whole evening! We enjoyed seeing so many friends dressed as cows too! The News, the Hattens, the Mozingos, and the Gaymon girls were all there sporting their cow attire as well! I'm not sure if we look more like cows, dalmatians, or spotted bunnies, but we had fun making our costumes together!

Pretty Girls

Peaches!

I LOVE peaches! I am so excited that it is peach season! Today we went to pick them for the first time. Some friends of ours, the McKees, joined us in the fun. The girls all got really hot and sweaty, and ate LOTS of peaches.

July 4th

We spent the 4th with some friends, the Pattersons, and had such a fun day! We went swimming and then cooked out and shared a yummy meal! The girls had a ball together and looked so cute in their red, white and blue!
I tried to get a cute pic of the 3 of them, but it was past bed time and they were not too into me taking their picture! I guess that's what you get with tired toddlers! These are the best ones!

Potty Time!

This is what we do a lot of these days:
